PHILOSOPHY: Movement is Essential

I have been on the move since I can remember and am thankful that I have had dance as an outlet for my creative energy. When I was 18, I found out that I had scoliosis.  The same year I discovered Pilates and have used it as a tool to realign my body and find healthier ways to move.  From my first session I was hooked.  I knew that I was meant to help others find their healthiest bodies just as I learned to find mine.

Tensegrity is how movement in one part of the body affects how the other body parts move.  My goal is to help my clients learn the tensegrity of their body and use it to move in the healthiest way possible.  As a dancer, Pilates instructor, and certified personal trainer, I hope to use my experience to give cues and new perspective on movement.  It is a continual process and journey of discovery.  I learn along with my clients.  Movement is essential in our lives, so let’s move in the best way possible.
